- Create a Restore Point.

How to create a System Restore point

Open Start.

Search for Create a restore point, and click the result System Properties.

Under "Protection Settings," select the main system drive, and click the Create button.

Enter a description to identify the restore point.

Click Create.

Press Windows + R keys to bring up the Run dialog.
Type regedit.exe and then press Enter.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

In the Registry Editor window, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Photoshop\120.0

Right-click the 120.0 folder and choose New > DWORD (32-bit) Value from the menu.

In the right pane, name the new key as OverridePhysicalMemoryMB and press Enter.

Right-click the new key and choose Modify from the menu. In the Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value dialog,

Value Name = OverridePhysicalMemoryMB

Go To Settings

It will list Installed RAM that is your Memory.

Then if your RAM is smaller or greater than the amounts shown in the tutorial divide or multiply based on your amount. For example for 4.00 GB RAM take the 8192 for 8GB and divide it by 2 you get 4096 OR let’s say you have 20GB RAM then you can multiply any of these by .25 and get 4096 which you know is for 4GB so adding 4096 + 16384(16GB) = 20480 for 20GB
